Primary Function

Provides Physician Assistant (PA) services at Post, including treatment of illnesses or minor injuries suffered during security operations.  Actively support and uphold the Company's stated vision, mission and values.

Essential Functions

  • Stabilizes and prepares sick and injured personnel to a higher level medical facility
  • Ensures that the contents and serviceability of medical kits supplied to personnel and placed in operational vehicles are properly maintained

Job Requirements

  • US citizen/TCN/LN, as specified in the task order
  • Level three (3) English language proficiency
  • Level three (3) language proficiency in all languages/dialects identified in the task order
  • Must be trained and certified to current US recognized medical standards
  • Must possess current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification
  • Must have successfully completed Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), a comparable advanced trauma course featuring exceptional simulation training within the last ninety (90) days
  • Must possess a minimum of five (5) years of PA experience, with a majority of this experience being within an emergency room and/or in direct support of military operations
  • Be at least twenty-one (21) years of age at the time of hiring
  • Must have a valid US Passport
  • Must have a current US driver's license
  • Must be able to pass a physical fitness agility test and maintain that fitness level for the duration of his/her service on the task order
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening; position is also subject to random drug screening throughout the course of employment
  • If prior US Military, must have an honorable discharge
  • Must be able to pass a detailed background investigation and possess the criteria to be awarded and maintain the necessary US-issued security clearance
  • Must be able to pass a medical physical approving candidate for overseas work
  • Possess no impediments to traveling overseas to and within countries that are considered dangerous or unhealthy in general, or to the country or countries assigned in the applicable task order
  • Attend and successfully complete the NPSS training course
  • Qualify with the Glock-19 and M4, re-qualifying as required by the task order
