Primary Function

Perform Project Control duties including scheduling, planning, cost tracking, variance analysis and implementing financial policies and procedures. Actively support and uphold the Company’s stated vision, mission, and values.

Essential Functions

  • Take the lead in planning, tracking, analysis and reporting of projects of varying contract type, size, complexity and level of risk
  • Support projects; responsible for implementing financial policies and procedures
  • Responsible for the reporting and analysis related to setting up and tracking project profitability
  • Directly contribute to the development of program specific policies and procedures
  • Forecast financial data for programs or contracts
  • Establish and maintain cost/ schedule baselines at the WBS and CLIN level
  • Develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBSs) and related dictionaries
  • Perform Estimates at Completion (EAC)
  • Develop Resource Loaded Networks (RLNs)
  • Implement Earned Value methodologies and application
  • Perform related variance analyses
  • Perform risk management, including the development of Quantitative Risk Analysis Matrices (QRAMs)
  • Perform schedule and RLN support for new business proposal development through a review process
  • Complete Contract Funds Status Reporting (DD Form 1586) per Data Item Description DI-MGMT-81468instructions.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of six (6) years related experience in project controls / finance field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline
  • PMP/ or related Project Controls certifications
  • Ability to travel to offsite office and international project locations as required (approximately 20%)
  • Proven financial management skills.
  • Ability to research, analyze and complete complex assignments.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of varied contract types, to include detailed knowledge of Cost-Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) and Performance-Based Incentive Fee (PBIF) contracts.
  • Familiar with SOX EAC requirements (accruals, commitments, overall processes, procedures and IFS)
  • Possess a good understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Experience in staff management and ability to provide leadership and mentoring
  • Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Secret security clearance
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements dictated by project requirements at a frequency as required by contract
  • Experience with business development activities
