Primary Function

The Security Manager is overall responsible for the oversight of all security operations in the successful development, management, and oversight of a viable security program to include all personnel, material, training, and operational requirements for the program.  Actively supports and upholds the Company’s stated vision, mission and values. 

Essential Functions

  • Managing the security force for government facilities, personnel, classified computing systems and information in accordance with USAF regulations and internal security policies and practices
  • Acts as the focal point for all Information Security (INFOSEC) matters on behalf of the Designated Approving Authority (DAA) and Defense Security Services (DSS)
  • Ensuring all users have the requisite security clearances, authorization, need-to-know, and are aware of their security responsibilities before granting access
  • Conducts security audits between regularly scheduled Defense Investigative Service (DIS) inspections
  • Assist with getting classified computer approval
  • Establishes closed and restricted areas for performance of classified contracts
  • Conducts internal investigations involving security violations

Job Requirements

  • Dedicated security manager with 10-15 years of experience managing the security of classified DoD facilities and geographically separated security forces. This experience must include managing law enforcement and investigative organizations. Candidate must be able to support contingency and disaster recovery planning.
  • Knowledge of PCs and software
  • Must be familiar with the DoD Industrial Security Manual and other US Government and U.S. Air Force security requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with audiences of all levels
  • Management skills essential
  • Must be able to create and maintain information databases
  • Must have experience leading projects of 200 or more people, over $1,000,000 value
  • Business requirements gathering and documentation
  • Experience with Resource staffing and supervision
  • Very strong logical and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Technical expertise, experience, and capability in information security
  • In-depth experience dealing with collective bargaining agreements (CBA) and unionized work forces
  • Undergraduate degree

  • High consideration:  PMP, Black Belt, Scrum Master, ASIS CPM/CPP
  • High consideration:  USAF Security/Provost Marshal Experience
  • High consideration:  Post Graduate Degree
  • High consideration: Current TS/SCI clearance
  • Expert Proficiency:  MS Office, MS Project, and MS Visio
  • Strong Proficiency:  Collaboration toolsets (SharePoint)
  • Strong Proficiency: Information security expertise

 

Working Conditions

  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements dictated by project requirements
  • Ability to work in harsh working conditions, outdoors, and/or in extreme temperatures
  • Must be available to work outside the normal schedule when dictated by needs of the company

 

Must have a background that would permit the U.S. Department of Defense to issue a Top Secret Clearance with SCI access, which includes US Citizenship.
