Primary Function

Provides management and oversight for operation, repair, and training for various incineration systems, as well as the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment. Actively support and uphold the Company’s stated vision, mission, and values.

Essential Functions

  • Operate incinerator in a safe manner consistent with Standard Operating Procedures of the equipment
  • Provide day to day operational oversight of solid waste, medical waste, and hazardous waste incinerators.
  • Ensure that Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
  • Complete and submit all associated paperwork as required for equipment records and waste tracking.
  • Operate and perform preventative and daily checks on equipment
  • Conducts weekly and monthly hazmat inspections
  • Maintains and tracks program progress and updates technical requirements, associated resource program needs, and schedules
  • Provides timely completion of project within established time-lines and budgets
  • Perform daily maintenance duties and communicate any problems or issues with project management immediately upon discovery

Job Requirements

  • Must have experience in the operation of incinerator systems
  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in the operation, repair and training for various incineration systems, as well as the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment
  • May require travel to provide the training and maintenance support
  • Preferred 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER and current 8-Hour Annual HAZWOPER Refresher (if applicable)
  • Must be able to pass a detailed background investigation at a frequency as required by contract
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements dictated by project requirements
  • Must possess valid passport
  • Must be fluent in speaking and writing the English Language
  • Must have valid driver's license
  • Must be able to pass a physical approving candidate for overseas work
  • Must have a valid and current Security Clearance
  • If former military, must have received an honorable discharge
  • Ability to identify problems, suggest solutions and react to change with a high degree of attention to detail
