Primary Function

Perform Project Control duties including scheduling, planning, cost tracking, variance analysis, pricing and implementing financial policies and procedures. Actively support and uphold the Company’s stated vision, mission, and values.

Essential Functions

  • Take the lead in planning, tracking, analysis and reporting of projects of varying contract type, size, complexity and level of risk
  • Support Program Management; responsible for implementing financial policies and procedures
  • Responsible for the reporting and analysis related to setting up and tracking project profitability
  • Calculating and recording monthly revenue
  • Review billings for accuracy; including unbilled analysis
  • Price ROMs, follow-on business and other proposals
  • Directly contribute to the development of policies and procedures
  • Forecast financial data for programs or contracts
  • Establish and maintain cost/ schedule baselines
  • Develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBSs) and related dictionaries
  • Perform Estimates at Completion (EAC)
  • Develop Resource Loaded Networks (RLNs)
  • Implement Earned Value methodologies
  • Perform related variance analyses
  • Participate in the budget process
  • Perform risk management, including the development of Quantitative Risk Analysis Matrices (QRAMs)
  • Perform schedule and RLN support for new business proposal development through a review process
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Finance

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years related experience in project controls / finance field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline
  • Ability to travel to offsite office and international project locations when required
  • Proven financial management skills.
  • Ability to research, analyze and complete complex assignments.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of varied contract types.
  • Familiar with SOX EAC requirements (accruals, commitments, overall processes, procedures and IFS)
  • Possess a good understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Experience in staff management and ability to provide leadership and mentoring
  • Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment
  • Earned Value Management knowledge/experience preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously
  • Must be able to pass a detailed background investigation
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements dictated by project requirements at a frequency as required by contract
