Primary Function

Responsible for assisting the Operations Center Watch Officer on a security project. To actively support and uphold the Company’s stated vision, mission, and values.

Essential Functions

  • Maintains accountability of all PSC personnel in an area of operations
  • Performs the applicable duties as specified in task order to include:
    • Provide security-related information from the military force protection officer to appropriate personnel
    • Transmit security related information collected by personnel to the military force protection officer
    • Provide daily accountability of all guard force personnel
    • Maintain inventory and accountability of all weapons at that installation and provide regular inventory reports 
    • Maintain accountability for all vehicles, as specified in task order
    • Collect and develop reports and products pertaining to operations as required in orders, directives, guidance, and standard operating procedures (SOPs), or as specified in task order
    • Prepare, maintain and process serious incident reports

Job Requirements

  • Shall be fluent in English speaking, reading and writing
  • Must be a US Citizen and possess a Secret Clearance
  • Must qualify semiannually with all assigned weapons (including safety functions, capabilities, limitations, and maintenance) IAW US Department of the Army Standards
  • Must possess a Military background of not less than four (4) years or have equivalent training
  • Must have prior experience as officer, warrant officer or non-commissioned officer (E-7 or higher) or team leader in armed forces, police, or private security company in a contingency area and received an honorable discharge (all verified by military transcripts and evaluations)
  • Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age or older
  • Must be able to perform the following physical tasks:

(1) Drag, carry, lift, and/or pull a person to safety

(2) Use physical force to detain a subject or prevent unauthorized entry

(3) Prolonged standing and/or sustained patrol on foot or in a vehicle

(4) Sustained pursuit of suspect on foot

(5) Dodging, crawling, climbing, and/or rapid ascent of stairs

(6) Perform the above wearing duty equipment and/or personal protective equipment under adverse environmental conditions

  • Must possess valid passport and travel/work OCONUS
  • Must be able to pass a physical approving candidate for overseas work
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements dictated by project requirements, to include an Annual Physical Ability Test
  • Must be able to pass a detailed background investigation at a frequency as required by contract
