  • Primary Function

    Provide project management support by overseeing aspects for assigned projects. Management and contract compliance, scope of work procedures, manpower, logistics, and administrative actions by performing and delegating project tasks vital to the conduct of company business. To actively support and uphold the Company’s stated vision, mission, and values.

    Essential Functions

    • Responsible for the management of all activities conducted at ERT Transition Yards for final disposition of Hazardous Materials
    • May be required to assist the Environmental Managers to provide support to USFOR-A to ensure compliance with environmental assessment requirements
    • Responsible for ensuring that all Environmental Corrective Actions (ECA) meet task order Safety requirements in the approved APP
    • •Manage project activities in person or remotely including production, site personnel, budget, and equipment needs to ensure project and program (scope, schedule & budget) goals are achieved or exceeded
    • Prepare Project reports and deliverables according to company, government, and client requirements
    • Proactively engage Company resources to meet Project requirements
    • Capable of filling in for Task Order Manager operational duties as assigned
    • Conduct research and compile data relevant to the needs of the company for project development to include conducting pre-proposal site walks, proposal capture management, and proposal cost estimation
    • Ensure confidentiality and ethical handling of all assigned communication and correspondence
    • Review information and prepare summary and final reports for presentation to executives, customers and high profile clients

    Job Requirements

    • Eight (8) years of hazardous materials management/response to hazardous materials incidents/corrective actions experience required
    • Experience in management and supervision of managing technical personnel required
    • Project or program management and supervisory experience preferred
    • Must have 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER and current 8-Hour Annual HAZWOPER Refresher (if applicable)
    • Must have OSHA 8-hour On-Scene Incident Command Certification
    • Requires OSHA First Responder Operations Training (8 Hour)
    • Must be able to pass a detailed background investigation at a frequency as required by contract
    • Intermediate user level of computer systems, Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), database applications, and documentation control systems
    • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate company practices with executives, clients, and employees
    • Must possess valid passport
    • Must be fluent in speaking and writing the English Language
    • Must have valid driver's license
    • Must be able to pass an OSHA physical in accordance with contract requirements
    • Must be able to meet the physical requirements dictated by project requirements
    • Must have a valid and current Security Clearance
    • If former military, must have received an honorable discharge
    • Ability to identify problems, suggest solutions and react to change with a high degree of attention to detail
    • Must have experience in applicable safety standards
    • Preferred certifications to include:
      • Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM)
      • Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
