  • Primary Function

    Perform duties in all aspects related to employee recruiting and staffing.  Requires performance of duties related to the Affirmative Action Program, maintaining files, preparing correspondence, Equal Opportunity Program, and ensuring compliance with hiring practices both nationally and internationally.  Actively support and uphold the Company’s stated vision, mission and values.

    Essential Functions

    • Manage and conduct professional/technical recruitment in conjunction with Janus hiring managers
    • Use creative sourcing techniques and locate candidates through online resources and job fairs
    • Recommend and implement new recruiting strategies
    • Ensure Affirmative Action information is captured utilizing available resources
    • Research and identify new avenues for recruitment efforts specific to current needs
    • Provide accurate data entry of employee information into the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
    • Conduct resume maintenance for proposal efforts and work plan compliance
    • Prepare outgoing correspondence to include regret notices, invitations to interview, and responses to questions
    • Ensure all client and regulatory documentation requirements are met and information is current
    • Ensure fair and consistent information and assistance is provided to all candidates and employees
    • Coordinate matters of legal compliance with the VP of Human Resources

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience
    • Strong background in military recruiting required
    • Previous experience with international staffing and recruiting in a government contracting environment is highly preferred
    • Must be able to work outside normal work hours at short notice when dictated by work load
    • Ability to travel OCONUS to remote and potentially austere environments highly preferred
    • Ability to present a positive impression to employees and outside agencies
    • Ability to gain internal support and operate independently without supervision
    • Ability to establish working relationships with internal/external customers
    • Intermediate user level knowledge of computer systems; Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), Adobe, HRIS/ATS, internet research and documentation control systems
    • Must be able to act with discretion and maintain employee and applicant confidentiality
    • Strong attention to detail required
    • Must maintain corporate confidentiality regarding sensitive information and proprietary item
    • Must be able to pass a detailed background investigation
    • Must be able to function effectively in a normal office environment
