  • Primary Function

    Responsible for supporting the resolution of customer and vendor hardware, software, and networking problems.  Part of the first level of on-call personnel and responsible for customer satisfaction.  Actively support and uphold the Company’s stated mission and values

    Essential Functions

    • Assist internal customers in providing timely resolutions to Tier 1 technical support issues by delivering professional and timely customer communication via email, over the phone, remote desktop and in person
    • Ensure stable, reliable production system operations by maintaining, supporting, and troubleshooting daily system processes
    • Approach assigned duties with a sense of urgency, discipline, dedication, and ownership
    • Receive, triage, prioritize, assign and track IT related problems
    • Thoroughly track, organize and document all support tickets from open to close
    • Prepare, review and edit of IT policies and procedures
    • Manage IT asset Inventory and personnel assignments
    • Develop and maintain a full understanding of Janus service offerings and solutions

    Job Requirements

    • Ability to logically break down problems to provide solutions, especially when the solution is not currently apparent. Using available resources to be quick and decisive with a solution.
    • Eager willingness and ability to learn advanced IT topics/skill sets
    • Previous customer service experience required
    • Demonstrated ability to work with people at all organizational levels
    • Solid understanding of Windows infrastructure (AD, DNS, GPO, etc.).
    • Solid understanding of PC and Windows Operating Systems
    • Experience with SharePoint, Mobile Phone technologies, MPE (Manager Printer Environments) preferred
    • Must be able to pass a detailed background investigation
    • Associates Degree or Computer Certificate Degree in Management Information Systems or equivalent relevant work experience
