  • Primary Function

    Implement, maintain, and improve quality related strategies, processes, guidelines and plans for company products and services. Actively support and uphold the Company’s stated vision, mission, and values.

    Essential Functions

    • Supports the development of quality related strategies, processes, guidelines and plans for Janus products and services
    • Develop, implement, manage and integrate Quality and Environmental Management System (QEMS) for all aspects of Janus Operations
    • Serve as the primary quality resource for problem identification, resolution, loss reporting and continuous improvement
    • Leads, manages and develops quality personnel focused on process improvement and compliance to requirements to ensure that quality standards are met
    • Design, implement and document procedures for process control, process improvement, and inspections
    • Establish and implement metrics (measurement of quality) for monitoring effectiveness of Janus operations
    • Perform root-cause analysis and other problem solving activities to identify effective corrective actions and process improvements
    • Establish collection and analysis systems of operational data to predict trends that will affect improvement of quality within the organization
    • Interact with customers to identify opportunities to improve quality and establish feedback with Janus personnel
    • Investigates, reports on, and addresses instances and trends of non-conformances, quality issues, trends and losses; designs and develops related quality metrics
    • Plan and participate in internal and external quality audits
    • Interface with supplier and customer quality representatives concerning problems with quality and assure that effective corrective action is implemented
    • Oversees all Management System compliance efforts for ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 18788:2015, OHSAS 18001:2007, and ANSI/ASIS PSC.1:2012 certifications to include leading any new company-wide initiatives to attain additional Management System certifications
    • Liaise with the external assessment body on all matters related to the external accreditation process

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Related Field with at least ten (10) years of experience in related field
    • Certifications by American Society for Quality as a Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) and Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
    • 40 HR OSHA HAZWOPER certification and OSHA 30 HR Construction certification desired
    • Eligible for Secret Security Clearance
    • Must possess polished verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate company practices with senior executives, project managers, clients, employees and government officials both domestic and foreign
    • Intermediate user level of computer systems; Microsoft office software, Adobe Acrobat, databases, and documentation control systems
    • Must be able to function effectively in a normal office environment
    • Must act with high ethical values and uphold corporate philosophy
    • Must  possess valid driver’s license
    • Must be willing to deploy OCONUS
    • Must be able to pass a physical approving candidate for overseas work
    • Ability to work in a remote and potentially austere location for an extended period of time
    • Must be able to pass a detailed background investigation at a frequency required by contract
